Rationale and Purposes
Together with the Manchester Fly Facility we have designed a template to help fly facilities or research groups establishing transgenic flies, to store helpful information for each fly line generated. The information in the template is intended to facilitate curation by FlyBase and Stock Centers and to provide complete and accurate information of individual fly lines for future use or publication. This information sheet should ideally be passed on when donating transgenic lines to other researchers and/or Stock Centers.
