-The selected candidate will be responsible for working with the FlyBase web development group to create, maintain and extend all aspects of the public interface of FlyBase database and website. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of code, and developing, using and maintaining data pipelines. The selected candidate will also work with the development team to improve or develop new solutions to meet project goals, including managing software and hardware subscriptions and helping with budget tasks. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable annually based on satisfactory performance.
