'Unpublished data', such as a mutant phenotype, GAL4 expression pattern, or negative result, may be submitted to FlyBase as a 'personal communication' - just use the contact FlyBase form and choose 'Personal communication' from the subject line menu. (Note that FlyBase does not capture data from oral presentations at meetings or seminars, from posters, conference abstracts or by word of mouth.)
