FLYBASE WEBSITE ACCESS FEE FAQ:
1. I am an unfunded lab / small lab / retired FlyBase user — can I still use FlyBase without paying a fee ?
- We encourage use of FlyBase by ALL in our community, and have no plans to obligate fees with a login portal, etc.. We are simply putting this website access fee in place for those who are able to help. Use your best judgment on what you feel is right. We thank you in advance for whatever you can do !
2. I have undergraduate students / part-time staff / occasional users in my lab. How many people do I pay for ?

- You should receive your bill from Harvard within several weeks after submitting your form. YES, you will be automatically be billed yearly.
6. Can I pay in a few months / when my grant is renewed / etc. ?
- Most certainly ! We are pleased of your support whenever possible.
7. Can I pay more than the fee FlyBase requests ?
- Most certainly ! We appreciate, and welcome all support. Please contact flybase-fees@morgan.harvard.edu for additional information.

12. I get an error message on the site when I try to do XXX, is this because I didn't pay?
